Posted June 13, This sounds like a cosmetic bug.

Zionophir, never fear! Posted June 14, Steve The Cynic. Posted June 16, Well, the unfortunate factor is there. I guess it's only logical that the game wants to say it's been transmuted before, but even my head can't wrap around the logic that you've transmuted a weapon into its own skin and it says it's transmuted as that skin. Alas, it's only cosmetic.

It's not like it's gonna break the game to the Mists and back Posted June 17, Create an account or sign in to comment You need to be a member in order to leave a comment Create an account Sign up for a new account in our community. Legendary equipment is the be-all and end-all of Guild Wars 2 achievement. There are weapons, armor, trinkets, accessories, and amulet s. There are a lot of perks to these items that make the huge grind for them worth it.

For one thing, you can stat-swap them at any time out of combat of course. It provides the flame-like aura, has a special sound, and gives the player flaming footsteps. Each legendary weapon offers different cosmetics. The other legendary items provide varied cosmetics, from shiny bubbles floating around you to super bright armor that blinds everyone around you. These are items that players want for all of their characters. You could technically have a legendary Iron Sword. In retrospect, the Mystic forge also completely ignores the transmutations.

I can confirm as I do this with Bolt, one of the legendaries who I feel the effects are too brazen and garish after a while, with parallels drawn to skins such as Volcanus I suppose.
